Steering & Suspension Repairin Philadelphia
A smooth, steady ride and a car that goes where you point it.
About this repair
Shocks, struts, ball joints and tie rods wear slowly, so the change is easy to miss until the car feels loose. We find the worn parts and restore a stable, comfortable ride.
Signs you need it
- Clunks or knocks over bumps
- The car bounces, floats or leans in turns
- Steering feels loose, heavy or off-center
- Uneven tire wear
Common questions
Why does my steering wheel shake?
The most common causes are unbalanced tires or worn suspension and steering parts. A shake at certain speeds usually points to balance; a shake when braking points to the brakes.
Do I need an alignment after replacing parts?
Usually yes. Replacing steering or suspension components changes the alignment angles, and driving on a bad alignment wears tires out quickly.
